Supporting the Iron Workers Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament

George ParisThe T. George Paris Iron Workers Scholarship Golf Tournament was founded in 1985 with the heartfelt mission of providing financial assistance for higher educational aspirations of the Iron Workers’ dependents through our Iron Workers Scholarship Fund, a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Since 1988, the scholarship fund has awarded over 200 scholarships to qualified dependents of Iron Workers, many of whom have emerged as inspiring leaders within their communities. What makes our scholarship fund truly special and meaningful is the opportunity for recipients to receive funding annually, provided they continue to meet the qualifications or graduate from college.

In our continuous commitment to the importance of education, the scholarship fund has awarded scholarships to every public and private high school in the State of Hawaii, allowing each school to select a qualified recipient who embodies their values and aspirations. Additionally, the scholarship fund extends its support to other high schools on Oahu through a random selection process, contributing to their Project Graduation program through our donations.

Our heartfelt belief in the importance of giving back to our communities drives us to allocate additional funds to various non-profit organizations across the State of Hawaii. Together, we aspire to uplift and empower the next generation through education and support, nurturing their potential with compassion and humility.

Testimonials From Our Iron Worker Family

"The impact of the Iron Worker Scholarship has been far-reaching, guiding me toward a fulfilling career in healthcare..."
"Thanks to this scholarship, I was able to attend MIT, the Jesuit School of Theology at Santa Clara, and the University of Hawai‘i William S. Richardson School of Law..."
